Snapping tip - I checked out some of your flower snaps. Most seem to have been taken in early afternoon. This is not a good time to take pictures. The best time for outdoor snaps is usually late afternoon, when there is less direct light on the subject and more shadows and contrast.
Then again if you are using that camera in the picture with the chick in blue shoes there is only so much you can do.
Last but not least. Blog more. The magic is always in the doing.
